How to get Latitude and Longitude for any Location?
To get accurate Latitude and Longitude details, use Google Maps website or App on Mobile.
ON Mobiles: Touch and hold any exact unlabelled location and click on the pin that comes, in the details you can see the coordinates. If you can't do that, simply use any browser and open the GMAPS website and follow the same exact procedure of PC.
On PC: Click on selected location, A Small location pin will come, RIGHT CLICK on it, you will see the two coordinates, separate by comma. First number is Latitude and the second one is longitude.
How do I geotag a photo?
Upload the photo you've selected in the upload box above, enter the latitude and longitude, GPS time and Altitude data and click "Save Location" button. The coordinates are written into the image's GPS metadata and you can download the new photo with GPS info. Keep in mind that GPS, Time, Altitude, keywords fields are not necessary for geotag but good practice to have.
What format do GPS coordinates use?
GPS Coordinates use Signed decimal degrees. Latitude runs from -90 to 90 and longitude from -180 to 180, with positive values north and east. The file itself stores an unsigned number plus a separate N/S/E/W reference, and the tool converts between the two for you.
How do I remove GPS data from a photo?
Upload the photo and choose Remove Location option. Every GPS tag is cleared, in both the EXIF and XMP namespaces, and nothing else in the file is touched.
Does geotagging change the photo itself?
No. Only the metadata block changes. The pixels are untouched and the image is not recompressed.
